For eCommerce brands it may feel like all the special promotional days are jam-packed in the last quarter of the year with days like Black Friday, Cyber Monday or Singles’ Day. But, building an eCommerce business is not a sprint, but a marathon, so finding ways to consistently grow sales in a steady manner is the best approach.

That’s why we believe that every single day, week or month of the year counts in eCommerce, and companies of all sizes from all around the world should embrace the fact that they should keep up with the dynamism of the global industry and its trends, which also includes being part of the vibe going on within their market throughout the year.

Also, some of the major online shopping days or special dates might look like local or regional dates or events, but as is the case with Singles’ Day (mainly a Chinese gig), it may also be a strategically smart move to leverage the hype and use it in your own market, even miles away from its origin. For example, why not borrow the idea of “September to Remember” from the Nigerian market (see below in the calendar)  and apply it in Italy, or the OktoberFest of Germany can also be a good time to celebrate for your online beer shop in Canada. You get the idea 🙂 🍺

When we look closer at the global eCommerce market, there’s exciting marketing campaign and communication opportunities every month, and we really hope that our 2018 E-Commerce Marketing Calendar co-created by Lemonstand & Prisync will help you run effective promotions that will drive and convert tons of visitors and shoppers to your lovely eCommerce websites.

Here’s a list of eCommerce promotional days to mark in your calendar and consider using to your advantage in growing your online store!
