We’re excited to announce major upgrades to our Avalara integration, and that LemonStand has now joined Avalara’s community of certified solution partners. As an Avalara solution partner, we integrate Avalara’s cloud-based AvaTax solution, for sales tax calculation and management, directly into LemonStand.
Avalara pioneered a cloud-based compliance platform for sales tax automation more than a decade ago and now provides an end-to-end suite of tax compliance services for businesses of all sizes. Today, their SaaS solution integrates into more than 600 accounting packages, ERP systems, eCommerce shopping carts, Point of Sale systems, and mobile payment platforms.
As a result of this partnership, LemonStand customers can now connect their online stores to AvaTax, Avalara’s cloud-based solution, to automate sales tax compliance processes, including calculating sales tax on every order. AvaTax eliminates the tedious work and complexity of calculating, reporting and remitting indirect taxes across multiple jurisdictions, and helps businesses focus serving their customers.

How to connect your LemonStand store to Avatax
Note – The Avalara for LemonStand integration is enabled by default for all LemonStand Premium Plan customers. To enable it on other plans, you must purchase it as an add-on. Contact our sales team for pricing details and to enable.
It’s super easy to connect once the integration is enabled for your store, assuming you’ve already got an Avatax account with Avalara. If you don’t, you can sign up here.
Just navigate to Integrations > Applications in your store’s admin panel. Click on the Avalara app, and add your account credentials to connect to your Avatax account.
You can test the connection to confirm it’s working, and once confirmed, save your configuration. Pretty easy right?
